WLAN sticks, also known as USB Wi-Fi adapters, work by connecting to a computer's USB port and enabling it to connect to a wireless network. These sticks contain a built-in radio transmitter and receiver that communicate with the wireless router to establish a connection. They receive the Wi-Fi signal from the router and convert it into data that the computer can use to access the internet. WLAN sticks are a convenient way to add wireless capability to devices that do not have built-in Wi-Fi, such as desktop computers or older laptops. **

When looking for a WLAN stick for gaming, it's important to consider factors such as speed, stability, and compatibility. Some popular options for gaming include the ASUS USB-AC68, TP-Link Archer T3U, and Netgear Nighthawk A7000. These WLAN sticks offer fast speeds, reliable connections, and are designed to handle the demands of online gaming. It's also important to ensure that the WLAN stick is compatible with your gaming setup and supports the latest wireless standards for optimal performance. **

Yes, there are surf sticks with WLAN/WiFi function available in the market. These surf sticks, also known as USB modems, are designed to provide internet connectivity to devices such as laptops and tablets. They can connect to the internet using a cellular network and then create a WiFi hotspot, allowing multiple devices to connect and access the internet. This can be useful for people who need internet access on the go or in areas where traditional WiFi networks are not available. **

Yes, there are memory sticks with WLAN or Bluetooth capabilities. These memory sticks are often referred to as "wireless USB flash drives" and allow for wireless data transfer between the memory stick and other devices such as computers, smartphones, or tablets. This can be useful for quickly transferring files without the need for physical connections or cables. These wireless memory sticks typically have built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technology to enable the wireless connectivity. **

Yes, some WLAN USB sticks also have Bluetooth capabilities. These devices are often referred to as "dual-mode" or "combo" adapters, as they can provide both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This can be useful for users who need to connect to both Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices, such as wireless headphones or keyboards, with a single USB adapter. **

When considering WLAN sticks, it's important to consider the compatibility with your device and the range of the wireless network. Make sure the WLAN stick is compatible with your computer's operating system and has the necessary drivers. Additionally, consider the speed and range of the WLAN stick to ensure it meets your needs for internet connectivity. Finally, consider the security features of the WLAN stick to protect your network from unauthorized access. **

Yes, the WLAN in the ICE (Intercity-Express) trains in Germany is limited. While there is free Wi-Fi available for passengers, the bandwidth and data usage may be restricted, especially during peak times or when the train is in a remote area. This is to ensure that all passengers have access to the Wi-Fi and to prevent excessive strain on the network. Therefore, users may experience slower speeds or limitations on data-heavy activities such as streaming or downloading large files. **

The term "puck" is used in ice hockey because historically, the object used in the game was a small, flat disc made of rubber. The word "puck" is derived from the Scottish Gaelic word "puc" or the Irish word "poc," which both mean "to poke" or "to punch." This is likely because players would use a stick to poke or punch the puck across the ice. Over time, the term "puck" became firmly established in the sport, and it is now universally used to refer to the object used in ice hockey. **
