The choice between Edea Ice Fly and Risport ice skates ultimately depends on the individual skater's preferences and needs. The Edea Ice Fly is known for its lightweight design and flexibility, making it a popular choice for advanced skaters who prioritize agility and precision. On the other hand, Risport skates are known for their durability and support, making them a preferred option for skaters who prioritize stability and control. It's important for skaters to try on both options and consider their skating style and level before making a decision. **

Graphite is generally considered better for ice skates as it provides a smoother glide on the ice compared to wax. Graphite reduces friction and allows for faster movement on the ice, making it a popular choice among professional skaters. Wax, on the other hand, may create more drag and slow down the skater. **

Steel is generally considered better for ice skates because it is harder and more durable than graphite. Steel blades also hold their edge better and provide better control and stability on the ice. Graphite blades, while lighter, may not offer the same level of performance and longevity as steel blades. Therefore, steel is the preferred material for ice skates. **

The choice between inline skates and roller skates ultimately depends on personal preference and intended use. Inline skates are generally better for speed and maneuverability, making them ideal for activities like roller hockey or aggressive skating. On the other hand, roller skates offer more stability and are often preferred for recreational skating and dancing. Both types of skates have their own advantages, so it's important to consider your specific needs and preferences when making a decision. **

Soft boots are generally considered better for ice skates as they provide more comfort and flexibility, making them ideal for beginners or casual skaters. Non-soft boots, on the other hand, offer more support and stability, which is preferred by more experienced skaters or those looking to perform advanced maneuvers. Ultimately, the choice between soft and non-soft boots depends on the skater's skill level, comfort preferences, and intended use of the skates. **

The best roller skates depend on the individual's preferences and needs. Some may prefer traditional quad roller skates for their stability and classic design, while others may prefer inline skates for their speed and maneuverability. It's important to consider factors such as skill level, intended use (recreational, fitness, or aggressive skating), and personal comfort when choosing the best roller skates. Ultimately, the best roller skates are the ones that provide a comfortable and enjoyable skating experience for the individual. **

The term "puck" is used in ice hockey because historically, the object used in the game was a small, flat disc made of rubber. The word "puck" is derived from the Scottish Gaelic word "puc" or the Irish word "poc," which both mean "to poke" or "to punch." This is likely because players would use a stick to poke or punch the puck across the ice. Over time, the term "puck" became firmly established in the sport, and it is now universally used to refer to the object used in ice hockey. **
